NEW DELHI: SmallCap stocks were trading on a positive note at 02:54PM (IST) on Tuesday.

Shares of SORIL Infra Resources (up 19.99 per cent), Zuari Agro (up 19.97 per cent), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries (up 12.5 per cent), Hindustan Copper (up 12.25 per cent) and Ramco Systems (up 11.77 per cent) were among the top gainers.


(down 7.44 per cent), Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (down 4.99 per cent), Magma Fincorp (down 4.97 per cent), Vikas WSP (down 4.93 per cent) and Advanced Enzymes (down 4.28 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 0.88 per cent up at 19835.53 around 02:54PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 52.80 points at 14728.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 76.76 points at 49821.08.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, PNB, Central Bank of India, SAIL and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Hindustan Copper, Rain Industries, Sundaram Finance and ONGC hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Chandrima Mercantiles, Sanwaria Consumer, Marg Techno Projects, Otco International, Interactive Financial Services, SPS International, Mitshi India, Ontic Finserve, Shree Ganesh Elastoplast and GCM Securities hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
